Tell us about yourself - at least 30 words
I have been a member of the Amida Mandala sangha for nearly a year. As a scientist, I worked at a research establishment in Malvern for 25 years until redundancy in 2006. Since then I have become a worker in wood and I volunteer for various organisations. I am also interested in history, walking, gardening and wildlife.

I have completed a Permaculture Design Course and, through biodynamic agriculture, have become interested in the writings of Rudolph Steiner.

My medical condition continues to be a mystery. It is clear that I do not have any of the big nasty things - brain tumour, cracked skull, stroke, etc - as these have been ruled out by MRI investigation. Nonetheless I continue to have persistent, continuous head pain that varies in intensity and I become exhausted by the least effort so that I am functioning like an invalid incapable of doing very much.
