WOULDN'T IT BE NICE

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where

• big countries did not exploit and plunder weaker countries
• when people have to leave their homes because of war, climate change or economic disaster, other people welcomed and helped them
• torture and child abuse were not acceptable
• slavery did not occur
• problems like climate change were dealt with by international co-operation
• racial prejudice was regarded as silly
• peace did not rest upon assured mutual destruction
• killing people was not regarded as any kind of answer to human problems

Wouldn't it be nice if these kinds of standards were so established that they were taken for granted and did not even need to be talked about?
