Profile Information

Tell us about yourself - at least 30 words
I'm originally from Canada, and currently live in LA. I study the microbiology of the oceans, and have become interested in Buddhism because it offers something that my scientific practice cannot yet somehow connects and does not conflict with it, and it has been extremely helpful for me to understand myself and the world better, especially in difficult times.
How did you hear about Eleusis?
I recently picked up "The Feeling Buddha" by David Brazier, and it has been an enormous help during recent difficult times of my life.

Other information / things you can offer
I can offer some knowledge about the Earth and its history based on what has been learned by scientists, and how it affects me. Maybe this kind of knowledge can help us to understand how small our lives truly are and how we are part of a long, long history on this planet.

Change comes from within, and is nurtured from external sources...

Early this morning I picked up a…
