The two main points are
1. that there is an important distinction between what is involved in (a) romance and falling in love and (b) living together in an on-going partnership. You can be in love with somebody but not love the life togther that then unfolds.
2. a person can meet every detail of your perfect mate and not rouse any feelings in you at all and you can then meet somebody who fits none of your criteria and have wonderful chemistry.
