The removal to the house in Ainay le Château is now complete. It is convenient and welcoming. Originally it was two houses. One of these is comfortably habitable and the other is semi-derelict. Renovations are now under way. The first steps are to install electricity and to insulate the roof. This is in hand. Much still to do.
At present the house consists of reception salon, kitchen & scullery, arts room, guest room, my room, guest room, general library, Buddhist library, two wash & shower rooms; plus, outside, a yard and atellier.
So far there have been two staying guests. It is already a cosy place for a short study or practice retreat.
Watch this space.
