Dear Dharmavidya and Amida Shu friends, I find it profoundly sad disappointing that the minds of fear, hatred, and Xenophobia seem to be winning. Naively, I had been lulled into a false sense of accomplishment, believing my generation's struggles against war and bigotry had improved our society. Clearly, the anger,hatred, and aggression had just been building steam behind a false veneer of political correctness.Now, we are faced once again with chest thumping petty dictators taking power.I intend to fight that trend in every way I can while trying my best to remain true to the Buddha's teachings.
