Tell us about yourself - at least 30 words

I received Jukai in 2010 at San Francisco Zen centre. I recently retired from my position as a consultant clinical psychotherapist in NHS. My early career was as a nurse and also qualified as a midwife with 40 years experience in healthcare. Buddhist psychology has influenced my life and practice for more than two decades.
