Tell us about yourself - at least 30 words

My name is José Luis Poveda (Spain, 1984). I earned a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia. In the same University I earned a master's degree, being the subject of my research the relation between Ethics and Psychology in the Theravadin Abhidhamma tradition. Moreover, I have been practising Buddhist meditation for over fifteen years, some of them staying and living in Buddhist centers and monasteries, both in Spain and Sri Lanka.

Other information / things you can offer

I have experiencie in these activities (of course, I am open to learn any other task required by the community; e.g., gardening, buildings works, plumbing, etc): - Aikido classes. - Ki techniques (japanese techniques to develop a better body-awareness, capability to soften our body-mind through respiration,capability to project our intention/ki, exercices with partners, etc). - Computing (user standard) and Secretary (in a zen temple for over 8 months). - Translations into Spanish or Catalan. - Cooking (tenzo for over 3 months in a zen temple).
