  • We have them everywhere in Canada. They only last a week or two in the spring but are wonderful and fragrant. When brought inside in giant bunches they make Bert's nose run :-)
  • Yes, that's right. It is a lilac. I remember now.

  • Syringa vulgaris (lilac or common lilac)  Wonderful! I did not noticed before that we had one. The smell is fantastic, you will notice this soon, no doubt, because you can smell the flowers from quite a distance when they are flowering...
