This retreat will include a range of Buddhist practice from silent contemplation, extended periods of chanting, recitation of sutra's and walking meditation. There will also be daily work periods, Dharma discussion and group sharing. The basis of all practices during the week will be drawn from the Pureland tradition. The retreat can be regarded as an introduction for those unfamiliar with Pureland and for those with more experience an opportunity to deepen their practice. Eleusis is located in a beautiful rural setting and full advantage will be taken of the natural surroundings to help support our sense of connection with the power of the Buddhas and the spirit of the measurelessness associated with Amitabha.
Jnanamati is a novice Pureland priest with the Amida Order and has a special interest in intensive practice.
Cost: 300 Euros per person based on full board for the five days.
