FRIDAY 23 Sept ~ Events and Travels

Nice to have a report from Mo about the event in Britany last weekend.

This morning I took Elja to Urciers, a village not too far away, to connect up with a car going to Netherlands. She has a variety of errands, mostly medical and family, to attend to there, and has found the blabla car system for getting lifts across Europe.

I got back in time to take Adam to Oasis where we had our regular Friday meetings and met with the folk there. Annette gave us a lovely account of her visit to see the Dalai Lama last week in Strasbourg. She was evidently moved by his presence and we reaped the benefit. Thus is the Dharma transmitted like a ripple spreading in water.

Yesterday we took Tara to the vet to have her final set of injections to validate her passport so that we shall be able to take her with us when we travel. We have now booked a ferry to visit UK at the end of the year.

The Oasis chickens have donated us a dozen eggs and I have just harvested a fair heap of tomatoes from our garden. I think we shall be living on tomato omelettes for a while now !
