It has been really hot today. The birds are singing. The roses are blooming. The grass has grown. Having completed one stage of my woodwork project and needing in any case to reorganise the downstairs of the barn before I can work overhead on the other side, I have had a bit of a change of occupation. I did do some sorting in the barn, but also got out in the sun to cut grass and do some weeding. The man came to sweep our chimneys and i got him to clean one of the smaller roofs of moss while he was here. Altogether a nice, physical day. And we ate our meals outside. Summer has arrived.
