MONDAY 7 DEC 2015 the day before the retreat

These days the Malvern temple is as busy as a beehive. Everywhere are people working and preparing all kinds of things for the upcoming Bodhi retreat.  Like repairing toilets, baking chocolate chip cookies, cleaning, shopping, taking care of fresh flower and so on......

Whilst all this is going on David gave me a tour through the temple garden. The whole temple is an amazing building; this beautiful old building will celebrate its 200th birthday very soon. And I have also discovered that the garden is very special…

Jizo Bodhisattva, for lost beloved ones. Often you will see Jizo wearing red clothes with the names of people who have died written on them.
