Today Damian, Susthama, Selena and Dorian left after breakfast to make the journey back to their home in Watford in England. They are in the process of buying a new apartment and need to be in UK in order to handle the legal and financial tasks. Eleusis seemed very quiet after their departure. We can still hear the echo of Selena's voice chattering.
The theme of silence seems to have been uppermost for the rest of the day. We got on with our normal routines and got some work done. My life is divided between periods outside working or going for a walk and periods inside either resting or writing. In the evening we had a discussion of an essay I have written about Honen and engaged Buddhism that will appear as Sunday's Daily Teaching.
