At the moment we are staying at the Amida Mandela Buddhist Temple in Malvern in Worcestershire in England.

It is quite special to be here. The temple is beautiful and this small town of Malvern is very pretty.

It is the first time that I met so many Amida sangha members and tonight we joined the evening service in the temple with 20 other people.

After the service we took part at the ‘listening circle’. Whoever is holding the stone can share something while everybody else is listening. The energy in the temple is warm and alive and it is wonderful to see how many people are feeling involved with the activities and the sangha life.

Today was my first day here and my first experiences in the wider Amida family.I am already regretting that the temple is so far far away from Eleusis….I hope that after this two weeks Amida life, we will have lots of inspiration for creating a stronger community and sangha life at Eleusis….
