I live in Australia but learned to meditate at the FWBO in London in 1985 when I was on a working holiday. A wonderful teacher there, Vajracitta, impressed upon me his loving approach and dedication to the practice, and that was the beginning of a slow dive deeper into Buddhism. I’m currently part of a three-member Sangha, all lay practitioners with no affiliation to a larger group, but who now all feel a deep resonance for the work and influence of teachers such as Paramanda and David Brazier, and their books, particularly The Myth Of Meditation and The Dark Side Of The Mirror: forgetting the self in Dogen’s Genjo Koan.
