A workshop within "the Alchemy of Love" theme, from the perspectives of lovers and of therapists. The path of true love never runs smooth and the problem of reconciling personal authenticity with interpersonal harmony is one of the greatest of life's challenges. We all have ideals in relation to this matter, but along with the ideal there comes the reality. The sweet nothings of today can easily become heavy chains tomorrow. Perhaps we then seek the help of a therapist or friend. Perhaps we are such therapists or friends. Yet what can we do for the best? This workshop will examine these problems. There will be opportunity to share and discuss as well as demonstrations of psychotherapy on the issues. The orientation of the seminar is Zen Therapy, an application of Buddhist psychology, one of the most ancient systems for the analysis of human delusion.
