I'm not sure that for me personally as I've got holder have become more conformist tending to go more to the centre ground. Not so long ago I would have been much happier with such a candidate, and a return to clause 4 etc. So more a reflection on me I think. However as I said today I voted labour. As I did when I first joined the Labour Party 33 years ago.
Thanks, Amdrew. That's interesting. Why do you think that young people tend to favour the left and older people the right? Do you think people move right as they age or is this a difference between one generational group and another. Are the young people who vote for Corbyn today still going to be voting Labour when they are fifty?
Up until last week I thought I wouldn’t even vote as the only candidate I could have voted for was the Tory and that would go against a lifelong belief in socialism.
After the last week of watching them campaign and the young people who are following labour I decided to opt for 70’s labour.
Maybe I just got brainwashed by the new labour spin doctors and this made me move away from the left wing ideals that originally made me join labour.
Could just be I got older and less rebellious
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
